What kinds of engagement rings look good on small hands?

I have really small hands. I'd like something that's simple yet sophisticated and elegant. What would you recommend?

Get a pear cut or emerald cut so that the long side of the stone is parallel to the side of your finger.

I would go for a smaller stone and smaller ring setting.
You would have to try on some rings. Don’t forget to take into account lifestyle and comfort. Of course budget should be #1.

Marquis shape will make the fingers look longer. Go with a smaller diamond and dainty setting.

I would use Phi, the golden ratio to deterimine the size of diamond for a “perfect” look. For example, if you wear a size 6 ring, that equals 16.5mm in diameter. You purchase a round brilliant solitate diamond that is 6.3mm in diameter
16.5 – 6.3 = 10.2. 16.5/10.2 = 1.618…1.618 is the golden number…Phi…Therefore if you have a size 6 finger a diamond that is 6.3mm in diameter is the most pleasing to look at.
