What kind of engagement rings do you like?
What is your favorite kind of engagement ring? What shape, gemstone, color, size, style of setting, metal do you like? Mine is a round 1.5 carat diamond with a simple gold band and wedding band, which i like, but I think Britney Spear's probably fits my taste the best. Here's a pic:

I like a small princess cut diamond. I would have and did have any ring that someone who truley loved me gave me. It wasnt quite my style but it came from his heart and thats all that truley mattered.

Britney’s ring is pretty, but yours sounds beautiful! I got a round cut solitaire-(I picked it out), it’s just over 1 carat, it has an “Ideal” cut, and “Excellent” symmetry and polish grades, it has no cutlet, the girdle is medium-(not wavy), and it doesn not have any flourescence. It sparkles more than any other diamond I have ever seen, and I LOVE IT!!! My band is just under a 1/2 carat of channel set diamonds, and both rings are set in white gold. I picked out both of my rings with my fiancee.
I like simple, elegant and timeless.
Brilliant Cut.
Yellow Gold band (white gold 6 claw setting)
Cathedral setting.
0.5 carat (because my fingers are so slender!)
E Colour.
I have slender fingers, small hands. So a big stone would look a bit unbalanced on me. Good thing, I guess :)
I like about a half carat, which is what I’m getting in a few months
the setting has 7 small diamonds on either side of the center one.
And I like palladium rings. Not as expensive as platinum, but 100% hypoallergenic.
I like round diamond cuts
funny that you should post a link to ziamond. Because I’m not a diamond kinda girl. I’m a cubic zirconia kind of girl. I don’t like the idea of my honey spending a ton. Especially when a high quality ziamond looks exactly like a diamond

I wasn’t that worried about matching engagement/wedding rings but the color would of been a big difference.

The company already told me an alexandrite stone cannot go into their rings because the gem is too soft. If i do end up getting an engagement ring it will probably be something like this with a cubic zirconium: http://www.titaniumrings.com/blacknew/helenA.html
I don’t know anything about styles or gem shape. I guess it depends on what the ring looks like. I do know i am not a fan of gold unless it’s white gold, lol.
