Wear it on the opposite hand! No use letting a pretty ring go to waste :)

It is really up to you. You can either put it up for a keepsake or wear it on the right hand (probably what I would do).

  2. Chad Warns

You could wear the ring on the opposite had like suggested above, or you could wear the ring as a necklace charm.

This is not a “smart-butt answer”, I’m being very honest: Promise rings are for 11-year old Jonas Brothers’ fans. You don’t need a ring to tell the world you’re going to stay pure. An engagement ring is a symbol of your love that also says you’re going to get married; it’s the only ring you get before your wedding rings. So what is a promise ring? A promise to promise to marry someone?

If it goes with your engagement ring, and if the promise ring isn’t a small solitaire, wear it with it. If one ring is enough for you and it doesn’t go well on your right hand, simply store it. Who knows — you’re daughter may love it one day. =)

rings before married are bad luck, all couple split out when they wear a promise ring before

You stop wearing the promise ring and then if you end up having a daughter you could pass it down to her and it could be a family tradition it’s just like my mom did with my grandpa’s bracelet and it mine now I’m so happy !!
So this is what I think you should do but ingave ur name in it so ur descendants will know the first woman who satred that in their family
And if youhave a boy keep it until he has a gf he wants to make a promise to

A promise ring should not be worn on the ring that an engagement ring will go on. So I kept wearing mine on my right-hand middle finger where it always was. I dont wear it extremely often anymore, but for the first few months after engagement I wore them both all the time.

You can wear it on the other hand, put it on a chain around your neck or just keep it in your jewlellery box and wear it from time to time.
    Best of luck.

Between your 10 fingers and a jewelry box, there should be a place to accommodate an extra ring. Or you can give it away or sell it if you choose. It’s up to you.

I don’t think you have to do anything with it. Either keep wearing it as a nice piece of jewelry, or put it in a drawer as a keepsake. Or give it to someone you value as a friend, or give it to a Goodwill so someone else can afford one they might not be able to otherwise. Basically it goes from being a symbol to being just a ring again, so it’s up to you whether you want to keep the memory or if you want to pass it on to the next person.
